Are there any fees and dues associated with joining I Refer Real Estate?

NO, that is the reason the company was created. There are no local, state, national and MLS dues associated with joining the company. You will be included in our group errors and omission policy. The only fee you pay will be $100 a year.

 

What if my license is inactive or expired?

No problem. If you are inactive sign on with us. You will fill out our forms then go to AZRE.GOV and request to be hired. Very simple. If you are expired, you will need to take any necessary renewal classes to become active. You have a one year grace period from when you expired to reapply for active status.

 

How do I submit a referral?

You can fill out the referral request form on this site or contact us via phone or email. Referrals in Arizona or other states can go to the agent of your choice. If you don't know an agent in a certain state or area we can place it for you. You can refer homes, land and commercial property.

 

How much can I earn?

You have unlimited earning potential. The sky is the limit and you're in control of your income stream. We only charge 10% of the gross amount of any referral paid to you. See potential earning examples below.

 

How do I get paid?

Once the transaction closes the referring company will send  I Refer Real Estate a commission check. We will send you the referral check.  No taxes will be deducted. You will receive a 1099 form at the end of the year and be responsible for any taxes being owed.

 

Can I list properties or show properties to buyers?

No, we are a referral only company. Agents can refer buyers and sellers only. Listing properties and working direct with buyers is prohibited.

 

Can I receive a commission if I purchase a property or list my own property?

Yes, if you purchase a property that is listed with another real estate agent you can work out a commission or referral to yourself.  Another option would be to negotiate the fees in exchange for a lower sales price. This will depend on the listing agent. To sell your home, since you won't have direct access to any MLS, we recommend utilizing an MLS real estate company.  Our full service company Iannelli and Associates can list the property for you.  You are also free to choose any company for this service.  

 

Do I sign a contract with I Refer Real Estate?

No, the forms you will sign upon joining will be a policy and procedure manual and independant contractor agreement . No long term contracts are required. You can sever at any time. However, the $100 yearly fee is non refundable.

  

Do I have to stay active with the Arizona Department of Real Estate? 

Yes, you will have to take the mandatory 24 hours of continuing education and renew your real estate license every two years.

 

What if I don't conduct any referrals?

You do not have to participate in any referrals. Having your license with us will only cost you a $100 a year. You'll never know when a referral will arise. If it happens you will have the opportunity to make money.

 

I have an Arizona license but live out of state.  Can I join I Refer Real Estate?

Yes, if you have a valid Arizona real estate license you can live anywhere in the country and join our company.
